Samba Client Plugin for eCS (OS/2) Version 2.1.1, has been released on Netlabs FTP site for NetDrive as well as the EVFSGUI that comes with eComStation 2.0+.

"Samba is a free implementation of the CIFS/SMB protocol for Unix, which allows LAN-Server style file and printer sharing among machines running Windows, Mac OS X ,Unix or eComStation (OS/2). There is a netlabs www.netlabs.org/en/site/index.xml based effort to port the Samba server and create Samba clients for file sharing and printing for eCS (OS/2) in order to replace the functionality of the outdated IBM-LAN-Requester/Peer/Server components."
