SANE HPLIP - bounty request for support of HP scanners - 20% of goal reached

Paul Smedley has had a number of requests for support for HP scanners, which actually have very good support under linux using the HPLIP driver.

In order for there to be a possibility of him solving the problems, he would need to purchase suitable hardware. Something like the HP Photosmart 7510 which is recommended for use with HPLIP.
