ATOMBIOS.SYS v0.86 -- widescreen patch driver    2010-03-07    rlalla@stepnet.de
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Requirements:
 - ATI/AMD graphics chipset
 - ATOM-Bios (original pre-2008 style, or new DTD based style)

Installation:
 - Copy ATOMBIOS.SYS to x:\OS2\BOOT
 - CONFIG.SYS: basedev=atombios.sys
        -or-   basedev=atombios.sys +HHHHVVVV
 - Read startup message at reboot

Example:
   BASEDEV=ATOMBIOS.SYS +16000900

Add 1600x900 to my ATI x850PE card with Panorama and eCOM 2.0 GA

Notes about custom resolution:
 - Custom resolution must be specified as 4 decimal digits each,
   like +10240600 for 1024x600 resolution
 - Horizontal resolution will be rounded down to the next multiple of 8
 - Supported horizontal resolution range is 512..2048
 - Supported vertical resolution range is 320..1536
 - Not all resolutions might be supported by your graphics card and screen
 - Scitech display driver will suppress any unexpected resolutions,
   so use Panorama or Gengradd driver instead.
 - Custom resolutions >1680 are using "DVI reduced" horizontal timings.

Permanent restriction:
 - Only resolutions smaller or equal to lcd resolution can be used.

INTLBIOS.SYS v0.86 -- widescreen patch driver    2010-03-07    rlalla@stepnet.de
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Requirements:
 - Intel integrated graphics
 - Intel cpu with Intel 9xx or G3x/P3x or G4x/P4x or i3000 or i4500 chipset
   -or- Intel Core i3/i5/i7 cpu with any chipset

Installation:
 - Copy INTBIOS.SYS to x:\OS2\BOOT
 - CONFIG.SYS: basedev=intlbios.sys /1680
    (or /0800 or /1024 or /1280 or /1360 or /1366 or /1400 or /1440 or /1920)
 - Read startup message at reboot

What resolutions does it replace:
  /0800 : 1600x1200 -->  800x480
  /1024 : 1600x1200 --> 1024x600
  /1280 : 1600x1200 --> 1280x800
  /1360 : 1600x1200 --> 1360x768
  /1366 : 1600x1200 --> 1366x768
  /1400 : 1600x1200 --> 1400x1050
  /1440 : 1600x1200 --> 1440x900
  /1680 : 1600x1200 --> 1680x1050 (default with no or wrong option)
  /1920 : 1600x1200 --> 1920x1200

Comment about 1366x768 resolution:
 - This mode is experimental. In case it does not work with your LCD TV,
   you might try out 1360x768 instead.

Permanent restrictions:
 - Only resolutions smaller or equal to lcd resolution can be used.

Temporary restrictions:
 - Every computer manufacturer might arbitrarily modify the bios.
   In that case send me a copy of your bios to adapt the driver.
