I decided to try out java 6 for os2/eCs, however many of the java programs are packed with Window installers which is a pain in the ass to deal with. So, I decided to make the zip files available here for other to try them out. I love it -- write once, run anywhere, except wait let me use a windows installer only.

My old Epson CX3200 printer finally took a dive after 6 years on the job. And I decided that I wanted a wireless printer this time, I found one at Sam's Club for 99.95 (orig 129.95, ends 7/5) with a instant $30 off. The setup with my wireless router was a one button push setup and the Windows drivers (Win 7 and WinXP) were easy to install with auto updates. I didn't have high hopes for my OS/2 machines, but with the great help of Paul S. I got the new printer up and running with eCups!

UPDATE: eComStaion and printing from OpenOffice is acceptable. However, when printing from pmvew, firefox or ae.exe it's draft quailty printing with eCups, which makes it bearly acceptable.
