Installation of Odin

Downloading and installing Odin
First download odin32bin-20020627-release.wpi
or the debug verison.
Installing programs with Odin
These are programs that have no problems installing with the
May 26 build.
- OpenOffice 1.01- Could somebody tell what odin works best.

Installing programs with Acrobat 5
*** Note just drag & drop the program to install on the Acrobat 5 icon.
Installing WinRar 3.62
If you have Adobe Acrobat 5 installed, then you can install WinRar with Acrobat 5. I tried using Odin and Adobe Acrobat 4 for installation, but the icons in the WinRar program were placed to close together and it looks terrible.
Sometimes the program icons are not created on the desktop. Drag a program item from the template folder.
In the Path: C:\PROGRAMS\ACROBAT5\AR5OS2.EXE
Parameters: "C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINRAR\WinRAR.exe"
Working Dir: C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINRAR
I use WinRar 3.62 all the time for the torrent files I download and have not had one problem with it yet!
Installing Limewire v4.12.11
*** Note the installer will try to download the lastest Java. Just press cancel and the install will continue normally.
The windows installer will work with Acrobat 5, no more hassle setting up a CMD file for Java. Limewire v.4.12.6 is the last to use Java 1.4, the latest v.4.13 needs Java 1.5.
I hope we get Java 1.5 because all of my favorite programs have switch over to it.
Installing Mercury v 1.9.5
Mercury is a Java-based MSN client (and upcoming Jabber client). With Mercury you can do the most of the same things as with your normal MSN messenger. Download the windows installer and install with Acrobat 5. See FAQ about Mercury www.mercury.im
