1) I have a fresh install of eCs RC5, the UNIAUD drivers that install with RC5 locked up the desktop hard on startup. 2) I replace UNIAUD32 with uniaud32-1.9.11.zip. Everything has been working for two week without problems now.

Excellent results...no issues to speak off, only missing real PM MIXER functionality! UniPm doesn't seem to work.
Drivers with higher version seem to be a problem however...not sure why.

Test system with Intel DG31PR desktop board. Several CPUs tested, including Dual Core, Core 2 Duo, and Core 2 Quad; all work equally well with ACPI /SMP /APIC. System sounds work; Flash audio & video in sync (using Flash 10 Preview under Firefox 3.5.4).
This installation was straight off of the RC6a CD (no additional updates).
